Hey, I'm Jaimie Z. IBCLC
Holistic Lactation Consultant, Advocate for Mothers & Resource for Doulas
Providing high quality breastfeeding support can feel overwhelming for doulas....
But it doesn't have to be. It's time to increase the value of your birth packages by over $300, improve your clients' breastfeeding experiences, and reduce your overwhelm in the process.
About Breastfeeding for Doulas
After working as a doula and lactation consultant educating and supporting mothers for nearly a decade, I started chatting with some doula friends and learned we're all seeing a similar problem...
Doulas are on the front-lines of breastfeeding support, often without the training, resources, or time to provide thorough breastfeeding prep & support... but moms? They assume their doula will prepare them for breastfeeding and help them figure it out when it's hard.
This results in overwhelmed doulas and moms who feel unsupported... this mismatch of expectations can hurt a doula's reputation... But imagine if you had resources to prepare & support new moms without adding more to your plate or giving them a referral their too tired to follow up on...
That's why I created Breastfeeding For Doulas -- Because doulas are on the front lines and need resources for breastfeeding without overwhelming themselves or stepping out of scope.

About the Founder

Jaimie Zaki is the IBCLC and host behind the Breastfeeding With Confidence Podcast and founder of Little Bear Lactation.

When she became a mother, Jaimie was shocked by how lacking real support around birth and breastfeeding truly was. After pushing through her own difficult start to breastfeeding, she pivoted her dream of becoming a labor and delivery nurse — and instead became a doula and later an IBCLC.

Since 2016, Jaimie has supported mothers through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding. She's also a homeschooling mom of five, with a decade of hands-on experience both personally and professionally.

Through her work in birth spaces, Jaimie realized that doulas are often the first ones present when breastfeeding struggles begin — yet many feel unprepared to offer meaningful, in-scope guidance.

That’s why she created Breastfeeding for Doulas — to empower birth professionals with the tools, training, and ready-to-use resources they need to confidently support their clients without adding more to their plate.
